Esther

Reading Esther is always like a breathe of fresh air. I got through it quickly. My favorite quote is:

4:14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"

It is quite possible that God had Esther in this position so that He could bring deliverance through her. But if she didn't go along with it, God would bring deliverance another way.

A quote from Helen Keller seems to fit here:
It is for us to pray not for tasks equal to our powers, but for powers equal to our tasks,

One of my favorite sayings is "God does not call the equipped, He equips the called."

I really like your blogs. Which one should I leave a comment on?

Thanks for the advice on my sign in problem with my blog. I miss my home church so much and I have not found one in the new town.

I still would like to drive back to my church, but then if I do that I might not be doing the right thing. Maybe, my hubs and I should just lay down our roots here in Waskom and find a new church. It is gut wrenching for me. I do not want to be selfish, so what do I do?

Very nice comomentary on your Bible study. Thanks and blessings. Pam
